I loved your post "What's your perfect day?" And, not surprised to hear many of the responses...being outside, surrounded by the sounds, sights, feelings and even the smell of nature. No matter how good or bad my day has been, I can sit on my front porch and take in something new every day. Watching a momma bird working franticly to capture a worm or a bug to feed her children, and working equally as hard, to build that perfect nest for her new arrival; listening to the doves coo as they perch on the light posts; watching my flowers bloom and thrive right before my very eyes; a cool breeze as it makes my wind chimes sing; the smell of fresh cut grass...I could go on and on. God gives us so much to enjoy through the sights and sounds of nature; His perfect gift. Everyone needs to take the time to stop and smell the roses once in a while. Ever heard the saying, "you can't see the forest for the trees?" Take a little time to see the forest! :)
